All Star Business Accreditation
On the 24th of March 2020, we were to take a trip to Croke Park to accept an All Star Business Accreditation for our dedicated hard work and a celebration of our commitment to our customers in delivering best in class products and outstanding customer service over the years.
We have been awarded with the coveted Business All–Star Accreditation. It is an independently verified standard mark for businesses based on rigorous selection criteria; performance, trust and customer centricity.
On the 14th of March 2020 at 6pm, we like so many other Business’s on this little Island of ours, closed our doors temporarily as a result of Covid 19. Little did any of us know that retail as we know it was about to change so dramatically. We are a small family Business which was set up in 1977 by our late father John and our mother Michele. We have grown up with this Business and to see the doors closed temporarily has been heartbreaking for us. It has been a great honour serving our customers for over 43 years and it has been a fantastic journey which we have celebrated with our hard working team and our amazing loyal customers.
As we all know by March, Croke Park was turned into a testing centre for coronovirus and the people of Ireland were getting ready for a health battle that nobody had anticipated.

We are so thrilled that we will be receiving this accreditation and for our customers placing their trust in us. We are delighted to be joining the All Star Business Tribe and we are the very first Furniture Store in County Clare to receive such an accreditation.
Business All-Star accredited companies are defined as; progressive,indigenous Irish businesses which meet the highest standards of verified performance, trust and customer centricity. In achieving this accreditation we join a unique group of businesses and we believe this continues to demonstrate our commitment to improving our service to our customers and suppliers. The three pillars of All-Ireland Business All-Star accreditation are Performance, Trust and Customer Centricity.
We may have to delay our plans to take our trip to receive our accolade, but we will celebrate with you our loyal customers and friends very soon.
As a business we have been through the Celtic tiger and two recessions. We lost our dad John in 2004 to a very short illness and we know he would have been so proud of us. Retail may change temporarily and how we do Business but we can assure you , we are here for you.

On the upside to all of this my sister and I have 4 little girls under the age of 4 and getting to spend so much time with them is precious.
